Riblet Center Post Chairlift
Regular price $4,200.00
Relive adventures with a rare center-post Riblet chair found at few resorts.
Riblet Tramway Company built its first chairlift in 1938 at Mount Hood, Oregon and the company boomed with the postwar rise of ski resorts. Building more than 400 lifts, particularly in Washington, Oregon, and California, and as far away as Australia Riblet’s was the world’s largest lift manufacturer. The company only built fixed-grip lifts, whose chair grip is woven into the haul rope rather than clamped onto it. Every western skier knows the look of a Riblet center post lift which often leads to the hidden powder stashes. Ski Lift design knows the real deal when it sees it, and the center post is it!
